Today is consider the earthly day as it consist of two earth elements in today base element day.
In 通胜， it mean good for demolishing the house and start everything fresh. It is a good day to start work after the CNY celebration and to put everything bad behind you and have a fresh start to a brand new year.

However, from the reading, it also shows that today is not a good day to work OT. thus have an early rest today.
